James Floyd

Vice President – Acquisitions & Business Development

James came to Bluebird in 2018 after working as a Landman across the state of Colorado. He is a graduate of the University of Tulsa and the University of Northern Colorado. He graduated from The University of Tulsa with a degree in Petroleum Land Management, giving him the knowledge needed to build a successful career in the oil and gas industry.

Following graduation, James attended the University of Northern Colorado, where he graduated with his Master’s Degree. James was a member of the Division I football team at the University of Tulsa and the University of Northern Colorado, where he played offensive line and won a Conference USA and Liberty Bowl championship.

William Floyd

Landman

William came to Bluebird in 2020 after graduating from Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi with a degree in Business. He has family history in the Oil and Gas industry which pushed him to pursue a career as a landman.

William was a member of the Division I baseball team at Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi, where he was a pitcher and served as the team captain.
